The conferral certificate is really just a ticket saying 'congrats mate you didn't fuck up Psgetdegrees' and that you've officially graduated imo, it honestly doesn't really mean much more a pen licence lol since every-fucking-one gets the same thing but bear in mind there's also another just-as-important and far more valuable piece of paper which actually lets people differentiate you from others.
So, to answer your question: yes, you do receive validation for the efforts that you've put in and people will defo see it so it's worth busting your ass over if you're willing to, of course.

Okay sweet this is super helpful! Guess I was kinda just looking for reassurance that my life isn't over if I don't manage to get those extra. It's my understand that if you do an Honours year it says on the certificate "Degree with Honours. The graduation certificate just states that you have successfully completed the requirements of your degree and have been awarded one.
